Title: Improving the Timeliness and Quality of State Electronic Death Registration System
Performance Period – April 15, 2016 – April 15, 2018
Scope of Work
Improve the timeliness and quality of the mortality records submitted to NCHS
Within 2 years we must
Register at least 80% of deaths electronically through EDRS
Transmit to NCHS death information within 10 days from date of death
Transmit specified caused of death to the State epidemiologists within 1 day of the death registration
