How to Apply? Check out the individual College website for details You may be able to use the Common Application Complete ONE application: If you are filling out a common app – take a brag sheet to your teacher/counselor if you want them to write anything for you. It is common courtesy to ask. Do not just let something show up in a teacher or counselors inbox. If you are considering out of state schools, look into WICHE – an out of state program with in state tuition. The link is on the senior information under counseling links.

14 Brag Sheets & Letters of Recommendations
MUST complete and turn in Brag Sheet before requesting a letter of recommendation Where can I find a Brag Sheet? REVHS Website – Counseling page In the Counseling Center MUST Request Letter of Recommendation 15 SCHOOL DAYS prior to date you need letter!!

15 Letters of Recommendation (con’t)
ASK POLITELY – Request a letter of recommendation from teacher and/or counselor IN PERSON. Include a brag sheet with a written request, and keep a copy as well. This helps you keep track . All requests must be made at least 15 SCHOOL DAYS prior to date you need letter!!

16 How do I send transcripts to a school??
In the administration office, at the front desk is a transcript request form. Transcript request forms are small GREEN slips of paper Fill it out and put in the wooden box It takes 1-2 days They can be: picked up Sent to a college directly – you will need the schools address Send to NCAA

18 Redlands Scholarship Foundation
End of January – Redlands Scholarship Foundation Application will be available Application window is 2 weeks Mrs. O’Day will come and talk to you in your English classes in January to get your log-in information. These scholarships determine Senior Awards Night

19 NCAA Clearinghouse www.eligibilitycenter.org
If you wish to participate in Division I or II intercollegiate athletics, you MUST be registered and certified by the NCAA Clearinghouse NCAA Clearinghouse has their own academic requirements so check with your counselor
