India National Legal Services Authority v. Union of India is a landmark decision by the Supreme Court of India. Legal Recognition for Third Gender Progressive states like Kerala and Tamil Nadu have special welfare policy . Delhi University becomes first university to have community outreach program. Sahaj International School ,Kochi is the first school for transgender in India In recognizing the third gender category, the Court recognizes that fundamental rights are available to the third gender in the same manner as they are to males and females.
