Embedded Cloud Private Deployment Model Public Hybrid Applications Platform Service Model Infrastructure (SaaS) (PaaS) (IaaS) Provider Owns Provider Operates Customer Owns Provider Operates Customer Owns Customer Operates Operating Model Because we see customers adopting cloud in so many different ways, our goal at Oracle is to offer customers with choice and a broad set of products and services. Our strategy is: First, to provide products to help customers build, deploy and manage private clouds, as well as different options for public cloud services. Customers need deployment flexibility Second, to deliver a wide range of offerings spanning SaaS applications, PaaS including middleware and database, and IaaS including servers, storage, networking and associated OS and virtualization software. Third, to enable solutions that enable customers to adopt cloud at a pace that fits their business. We find that customers vary in terms of how rapidly they wish to move to clouds and to what extent/how they wish to move to clouds. We offer choice as to how customers may consume software and technology with cloud computing. In addition to traditional on-premise models, customers can build their own private clouds or use a third party provider like Oracle to manage their IT for them as managed services. And then there are Public Clouds, where hardware and computing resources are shared amongst customers and there is no hardware at all to buy or software to manage – your technology is delivered as a subscription-based service.

43 Profitable Innovation
Closing the Loop between Strategy & Execution Concept Design PRIM Create Product Portfolios Analyze Alternates Manage & Revise Capture Ideas Manage Requirements Propose Projects PLPM Agile Enterprise PLM Modules Design to Release Cost, Compliance & Quality Project Execution Manage the fuzzy front end of product development – before you get to the point of CAD drawings, detailed specs, quality requirements. Product Requirements and Idea Management: Getting control of ideas, refine ideas, develop and manage requirements Eventually creating product proposal – ideas and requirements - – in a social environment Product Lifecycle Portfolio Management: Proposals go into portfolio where you can eval against corp strategy – e.g. grow revenue, expand in china Create portfolio of proposals – eg may put 10 new proposals into a potential portfolio. Portfolio management allows you to then create scenarios – e.g. kill two products, introduce two more or kill all existing products and fund all 10 new proposals. Puts into a 3 year model and evaluate which mix gets you closest to your corporate strategy. Concept Design Concept design is about design fulfillment. It allows you do to things at a functional block level – create conceptual bill of material, evaluate new suppliers, new parts, new materials. Then evaluate these against your business requirements. Not sequential – Concept design could be done before product concepts to research feasibility, then create product proposal… Capture Early Concepts Collaborate Propose & Design

44 Accelerating Your Innovation Stream with Fusion Innovation Management
“I need to see more details” “What’s happening in my Innovation Social Network?” “What new ideas are there?” “Show me status by Customer” “Which customers are contributing?” “Where are the good ideas coming from?” Idea management – Take in the voice of the customer and evaluate with your team – allows voting, crowd sourcing, etc. Collaborate on ideas in social network, helping you to refine the ideas

45 Better Customer Configuration Experience with Fusion Configurator
Completely Redesigned UI and User Experience Improves the experience of creating and maintaining Configurator models Improved Model Versioning and Release Integrated Workspace provides the ability to collect model changes, test, and release to production Incorporates WYSIWYG UI Editing Presents the Runtime UI in edit mode to facilitate rapid UI development Powered by Advanced Constraint Technology Oracle’s own ACT product is the engine powering the logic for each Configurator model Fusion configurator is designed to radically improve both the end-user and developer-user experience as well as significantly reduce developer maintenance.  For the modeler: The Configurator Modeling Environment has been completely redesigned with customer input, stream lining and simplifying the experience of creating and maintaining configurator models. A new, integrated workspace allows modelers to manage and test model versions, before releasing them to production.  Our new UI editor presents the run-time UI in edit mode, allowing modelers  to make changes to the run-time UI quickly and easily,  speeding the development of the end-user UI. Our new Advanced Constraint Technology provides more powerful and concise logic, reducing the number and complexity of rules needed for each model. For the end user: The interactive, run-time UI provides immediate feedback to the end user, while guiding them to the best solution. End users can complete the configuration themselves, or allow the Configurator to 'complete it for them'.

46 Better Price Management With Fusion Pricing
Completely Redesigned Pricing Architecture Incorporates all of the learning's from Siebel and EBS and implements this using the best in Fusion technology Price Breakdown and Guidelines to prevent Margin Leakage Avoid risk exposure and margin leakage through price waterfall analysis and guidelines to enforce compliance and prevent improper discounting Configurable Pricing Engine easily tailored to Business Process Rules-based pricing engine allows you to configure your pricing process to the unique needs of your business and quickly respond to changing market conditions Pricing Strategies for Targeted Pricing and Segmentation Pushes corporate pricing strategy to the front line sales rep allowing you to set and deliver optimal prices according to buying characteristics of the customer We are using the best of EBS and Seibel Pricing to develop a comprehensive price management solution. 1st step: price execution. later will develop analytics to show you how you are performing against your goals and price optimization…(Alison to send more slides as background) For price execution, we have developed a completely configurable pricing engine Because everyone’s pricing process is different. So we have a workflow based process – you define the steps that you need to take in your companies pricing process in a very drag and drop, visual manner. Set corporate pricing strategies which establish the pricing rules guidelines by customer segment. E.g: High revenue based customers coming in through this channel should have this strategy. - pricing rules – price lists, discounts, promotions, cost +, etc. - corporate guidelines - you can cap discounts, etc During deal negotiation on opportunities, quotes, orders and sales agreements, sales people have better decision support and price enforcement. Your sales people have flexibility to offer discounts and price breaks only within the pricing strategy for the given customer. You avoid risk exposure and margin leakage by enforcing compliance and preventing improper discounting. Waterfall analysis allows you and your sales people to see what makes up your gross margin – You start with you list revenue, and can see how each type of discounting affected your margin – segment discount, negotiated discounts, volume discounts, commission, cost, etc…

47 What’s Next Fusion Value Chain Planning

48 Sales and Operations Planning Directions
Real-time strategic planning scenarios “What are issues, assumptions, and proposal for executive review? “Can I make in-meeting strategic decisions? Fusion S&OP is the first step toward our vision to provide a comprehensive, role-based value chain planning solution - built on the latest technology - using a common framework for exceptions, measures and visualization of your supply network - with embedded analytics to make complex decision making simple (by providing you with the information you need, when you need it in a visual manner). Fusion S&OP is designed to be used both in preparation for and during your S&OP meetings to provide you with the tools you need for… Collaboration You define the participants in the process, add them to the group and use our collaboration tools to share calendars & documents, participate in conversations, and keep track of unstructured feedback that comes during executive reviews. (things like issues and action items) Real Time strategic decision making Fusion S&OP gives you the tools to do your traditional Demand, Supply and Budget Balancing + gives you enhanced ability to make strategic decisions during your S&OP meetings, with real-time aggregated adjustments. You can, for example, change the resource allocation at a PF level, or change your bills of distribution and see how it impacts your plans, in real-time. “What is my S&OP process calendar & groups?

49 Unified Demand and Supply Planning Directions
Demand-Supply Balancing “What can I do now to fulfill at-risk demands?” Unified demand and supply planning give you a role based approach to planning. Unified UI, exceptions management and measures means that planners can easily move between subject areas and access the information that they need for their role at your company. And to help make decision making simpler, we are embedding innovative analytics, such as this heat map, that helps you easily understand what the problems are and which have the most impact to your business. The system then gives you options and guidance for how to resolve the issues. You can compare multiple options and see the impact they have on revenue or other key performance indicators. Once you choose the one that best fits your business goals, the systems tells you what to do next to implement the decision. “Which at-risk demands have the largest Rev impact?”

50 What’s Next Fusion Orchestrated Execution

51 Fusion Cloud Manufacturing Directions
ASSEMBLE TO ORDER Rapid Setup Cloud-based work execution Drop Ship Network 3PL NETWORK CONSIGNED INVENTORY Manufacturing Master Data Rapid, Easy to Use Execution Seamless Outsourcing CONFIGURE TO ORDER INTERNAL PRODUCTION CONTRACT MANUFACTURING

52 Supply Chain Financial Orchestration Directions
Separating the Physical Movement from the Financial Ownership Support complex, global corporate structures without compromising supply chain efficiency Single movement of goods triggers multiple internal financial transactions, all fully documented and auditable according to local requirements Physical Movement Shipment, Receipt SFO is about supporting your complex, global structures without compromising supply chain efficiency. It separates the physical from the financial, and allows you to model and execute both independently of each other. Walk through example: Shipment from China to US But Asian HQ in Singapore requires all sales and purchases to go through Singapore So I have two ownership transfers, China-Singapore, Singapore-China Essentially an internal drop shipment. Need orders, invoices, payments to back up the sale Need to make sure they are in accordance with the transfer pricing and other agreements you have in place the the governments in the jurisdictions where you are operating. Need a system that can Model those agreements Automate execution Financial Ownership Orders, Invoices, Payments
