How to read a course map Course Map Link Indicates the year level & trimester you will be studying these units These unit codes are what you will enter for your enrolment in Web Enrolment System(WES). Please note that you are required to enrol for the full year during re-enrolment period.

5 Understanding Your Course
Check course maps for progression details. Detailed course requirements are available in the Postgraduate Handbook. We aim to provide you with as much assistance as possible however it is student’s responsibility to ensure the following: Be aware of the degree requirements Meet all of the progression rules Remain enrolled in correct units

6 Timetable Allocate+ : Online stream allocation system
Choose your stream (refer to Timetable for details) Diverse timetable planned however we cannot ensure evening streams Timetable published on Current Students, Law website for JD students

7 Timetable & Allocate+ Check any scheduled activities for individual units via Class Timetable: Personal timetable is generated using the Allocate+ system: Note: Allocate+ opens at 12 pm unless stated otherwise. Allocate+ closes the Friday before classes commences at 12 pm. Students who are not allocated when it closes will be allocated to available streams. ALLOCATE+ DATES – 2017 Trimester 1 Friday, 6 January 2017 Trimester 2 Friday, 31 March 2017 Trimester 3 Friday, 21 July 2017

Allocate + Opens 10 Jan Orientation 23 Jan Classes Commence – LAW5000 10 Feb Last day to withdraw from LAW5000 without incurring academic and financial penalties 20 Feb Classes Commence – LAW5001 7 Mar Last day to withdraw from LAW5001 without incurring academic and financial penalties 5 Apr – 13 Apr Exam period 5 May Trimester 1 results release

Student Charter sets out the key expectations of students and by students to foster this learning community. 14 House Keeping: Student ID Cards Maintenance Lost & Found Bicycles
If you haven’t done so, please arrange your ID Cards via WES Used for After Hours access during semester hours and borrowing Library books Maintenance We do our best to maintain the facility Please refrain from sitting on desks and sticking posters on walls Please report any defects/problems to us for fixing – Advise 1st FLOOR Student Services Office Lost & Found Located at Ground Floor Reception Bicycles Racks are on Lonsdale Street to park your bike Bikes are not permitted in the Facility Lockers 5 Day Single use only – Emptied Fridays at 5.30PM Tea/Coffee/Kitchen Facilities We have Kitchen Facilities available to our students.

15 OHS - Evacuation Briefing:
There are Two Alarms – when you hear: “Beep…beep…” – turn off all equipment and prepare to evacuate. “Whoop…whoop…” – evacuate the building, follow the exit signs, and proceed to the designated assembly point. Evacuation Procedures Evacuate the building via fire exit stairs. Stay together as a GROUP DO NOT USE ELEVATORS Proceed as a group to the designated assembly point (Corner of Lonsdale and King Street – outside Colonial Hotel) Comply with any direction given by a Firewarden, Emergency Services or Monash Staff
