INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL
The IQAC was established in our College on The purpose of the IQAC is to ensure quality of teaching, learning skills, infrastructure and facilities. It interacts with Students, Teachers and Management to ensure co-ordination for quality maintenance. The IQAC team analyzes and ensures if the facilities which are given to the students are adequate or not. IQAC team is always receptive to new ideas generated for improvement in the quality of education and research for Higher Education.

Recommendations Actions Taken / Compliances Organization of educational tours for students. Organized tours for to Historical and Geographical places of importance time to time. Provision of student’s hostel, canteen and sports facility. A girls` hostel is under construction funded by UGC in 11th plan. Canteen is in function. Students (girls and boys) are participating regularly in the university tournaments and achieving good results for the college. Starting of new under graduate programs of local needs like Painting, Maithili culture, tourism, computer application etc. PAINTING – A MOU with a renowned and awarded NGO “USHA KALA KENDRA, JITAWARPUR, MADHUBANI” to train our students for the internationally famous MITHILA “MADHUBANI” PAINTING. MAITHILI CULTURE – Small tours organized for interested students to nearby villages to get acquainted and observe the rich Maithili Culture and also there have been regular counseling to all students regarding our rich Maithili Culture. TOURISM – Nothing has been done remarkably only accept the promotion of MITHILA “MADHUBANI” PAINTING by words of mouth. COMPUTER APPLICATION – A letter of request to the university administration for the starting of BCA course made and there after few reminders but haven’t got the permission yet.

As a constituent unit of LNMU, Darbhanga, we cannot restructure the normal fee structure as & when directed by University. Introduction courses in Fine Arts and Home science. For Fine Arts & Home Science, a letter of request to the university administration for the starting of courses made and there after few reminders but haven’t got the permission yet. Motivation for girls to join the college by introducing women oriented courses. A large no of girl students turn out since 1st Cycle and the NGO referred above use to give special classes weekly to girl students for Cloth Stitching & sewing courses. Organization of more cultural and literary activity. Inter class folk & cultural competitions, essay competitions, debate competitions, group discussions etc organized regularly. Attraction of more fund by donation or otherwise. Donation from the legislative persons for infrastructural development received.

To make the curriculum in tune with the emerging national and global trends and relevant to the local needs .

Regular monitoring of the completion of syllabus done by the Co-ordinator and Chairperson of the IQAC. Issues discussed in the parent-teacher meet. Curriculum displayed on display board, through induction classes and also on website of the College.

A total no. of 8000 books and more than 15 Journals/Periodicals are present in the Central Library of the College.

Adoption of Solar Energy System for saving the energy.
