5.   Dear Friends, I would like to say a few words about the Church of the Word of God. Our vision is to let the people know the love of God and follow him in Christ Jesus.

6. John says ‘Dear friends let us love one another for love comes from God. Every one who loves has been born of God and knows God. Who ever does not love does not know God, because GOD is LOVE’.  

7. This is how God showed his love among us : he sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends since God so loved us, we also ought to Love one another. No one has ever seen God, but if we love one another , GOD lives in us and his LOVE is made complete in us’. ( 1 John 4:7– 12 NIV)  

8. MISSION STATEMENT  

9. “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” (Luke 4:18-19)  

10. STATEMENT OF FAITH  

11. We believe in the Divine Trinity who has revealed Himself as one eternal God existing in three distinguishable but invisible persons in the Godhead in perfect Unity – The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit – (Matthew 28:19, 2Corinthians 13:14, 1John 5:7 NKJV).  

12. We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the human race, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, very God and very man – (Luke 1:26-35).  

13. We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day, and personally appeared unto his disciples – (Romans 4:25).  

14. We believe in the bodily ascension of Jesus Christ to heaven, his exaltation and personal, literal and bodily coming again the second time for his Church – (John 14:2-3, 1Thessalonians 4:13-18).  

15. We believe in water baptism (immersion) – (Matthew 28:19)
We believe in water baptism (immersion) – (Matthew 28:19). We believe in the baptism with the Holy Spirit and Fire – (Acts 1:5, Matthew 3:11) We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit as operational today – (1Corinthians 12).  

16. We believe that Salvation is an inclusive word of the Gospel gathering into itself all redemptive acts and processes – spirit, soul and body.  

17. We believe that there is one true universal church, made of genuine believers, but this one universal church is also composed of many local churches in given localities. These churches are under the sovereign headship of the Lord Jesus Christ, exercising autonomous government under Him, administering all its local affairs and Ministry, as well as the propagation of the Gospel (Acts 15:22).  

18. We believe that the government is ordained of God, and the powers that be are ordained as ministers of God to us for good – (1Peter 2:17). Membership is restricted to those who agree with the above STATEMENT OF FAITH……  

19. Jesus Christ also said, “ Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” The record is this; Love your neighbor as your self. There is no commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12: 30– 31)

24. Our mission statement is Christ’s mission
Our mission statement is Christ’s mission. We can not change that because we are his church.

25. Therefore we are his ambassadors in this world as Paul says: “ we are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ‘s behalf: Be reconciled to God “ (2 Corinthians 5:20) My dear readers, I urge you to confess your sins and repent. This is how we reconcile with GOD.  

26. OUR OBJECTIVES…

27. To give specialized training based on non-formal training through seminars and conferences and formal training through the Equipping Centre.  

28. To equip others for effective service and church planting.

29. Shall identify and prepare key leaders for work amongst people group locally and globally. The church shall be organized and operated to serve all Christian groups and denominations

30. The church shall seek to promote Gospel Ministry in Urban and Rural areas as commissioned by our Lord Jesus Christ.  

31. The church shall seek to promote and encourage networking partnerships with similar organizations. To evangelize and make disciples of all nations.

32. “The Ministry of the Word of God Worldwide” will be the evangelistic and training arm of the Church of the Word of God in charge of the Equipping Centre and planting churches all over the world for the Church of the Word of God. Above all to worship God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

I want to pray with you. Whole heartedly pray. “ LORD JESUS I recognize that I am a sinner. Therefore, I confess all my sins to you and I repent . I NEED your forgiveness now. Thank you Lord for forgiving me all my sins and making me a child of God” AMEN. (John 1:12– 13)  

35. Almighty God, you have promised to hear us when we pray in faith in the name of your Son. Grant that what we have asked in faith we may obtain according to your will through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
