19 The Internship Program at Endicott
Endicott was the first college in the United States to require internships in every program of study. Three distinct internships are completed over the course of four years. These include two 120-hour experiences, completed in the winter session of the freshman and sophomore years, and a semester long internship, completed in the spring of junior year or fall of senior year. In connection with their internship experiences, students participate in on-campus classroom exchange, online threaded discussions, written assignments, oral presentations, blogs, audio journals, and portfolio pieces. Over 53% of the members of the Class of 2015 received their first career position at one of their three former internship sites.

24 Research Undergraduate research at Endicott takes several forms.  The culminating activity for all seniors is the creation of an original thesis project that involves in-depth study and discovery research in an area of interest within the major. Topics that emerge during the senior internship experience often become the basis for the thesis projects, which can range from the creation of original artistic works to the study of a problem within the social sciences. During a thesis conference held prior to graduation, seniors share their projects with the entire Endicott community.
