Aim to build knowledge and human capacity in priority areas established for each country/region
Mainly fund postgraduate coursework studies (Masters), but undergraduate studies and HDR studies are also funded in some countries for qualified candidates

Split-site programs, using existing joint Masters degrees established by Australian universities with a partner university in Indonesia
3 Australian universities involved – Curtin (17 students), ANU (10 Students) and the University of Adelaide (16 students) - with 23 Indonesian Government agencies
One year spent in Indonesia and one year in Australia
Indonesian component funded by an Indonesian government agency, Australian component funded by AusAID

9. WORLD BANK SPIRIT SCHOLARSHIPS
Available in Indonesia only, for building staff capacity in various Indonesian government ministries and agencies
Funds Masters or PhD studies at an overseas university ranked in the top 400 universities in the world (THES or QS)
