18 Mrs. Barbaro’s & Mrs. White’s classes got to taste a Southern Style Collard Recipe and a Collard Dip made from our own collards grown in SRE’s School Garden.

20 On 5/10/2016, our Master Gardener, Ms. Carolyn helped Mrs
On 5/10/2016, our Master Gardener, Ms. Carolyn helped Mrs. White’s Class prepared garden for a new crop by pulling remainder of lettuce and English peas. Roots were removed from plants because they can carry disease. The lettuce and English peas will be recycled for Ms. Rogers’ class Composting Project. We will be planting Sweet Potatoes next week as our next crop. Sweet Potatoes are a great summer crop that will be ready to gather in the Fall.
