3. Overview of MUI Upgrade
New Market User Interface (MUI) will be compatible with latest web browsers and removes Java applets and the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) requirement
No longer have to maintain a workstation with outdated software in order to participate in CRR Auctions
Provides clearer validation of auction portfolio submittals and more descriptive error messages for uploads
Improved auction file download capabilities – can select multiple files to download into one zip file
40% annual capacity shaping for PCRR nominations will be correctly calculated by the CRR application – no more spreadsheets and manual changes by ERCOT

4. Overview of MUI Upgrade – Continued
New “Messages” tab on the Counter-Party MUI to communicate any credit related messages, such as reminders of auction close date
Will include SCR777 (Bilateral CRR Interface Enhancement) and NPRR648 (Remove References to Flowgate Rights)
Added upload feature for bilateral trades – no longer have to submit 1 trade at a time
Note that testing of the MUI is ongoing at ERCOT and we will be posting any known defects on the CRR webpage

7. Requirements for Requalification
Market requalification period is open through December 8, 2017
All current and new CRR Account Holders and their Counter-Parties must complete qualification test for new MUI
Anyone attempting to qualify after this date is not guaranteed to be eligible on the implementation date
JAN 22, 2018 – MUI implementation go-live
Any CRR Account Holders or Counter-Parties that have not completed requalification will not be able to participate in any auctions after this date, until a qualification test is passed
