Who walks in His ways
Cannot be separated from our “fear” of Him
1 John 2: John 5: John 3-4
He is blessed!

4. The home of the Godly (2-4)
Happiness when you eat the labor of your hands
Contentment - Proverbs 15:16, 1 Timothy 6:6
In the godly home, man is happy with little or much, cf. Psalm 127:3-5
Stay within your boundaries – Proverbs 5:18
All is well – Romans 8:31

Your wife will be like a fruitful vine
Happy relationship – fulfilling roles 1 Peter 3:1-2, 7; 1 Timothy 2:15, etc. Prov. 31:10-31

6. The home of the Godly (2-4)
Your children like olive plants Ephesians 6:1-3, Proverbs 6:20, 31:28, etc.
Parents – Ephesians 6:4, Timothy 1:5, 3:15 Proverbs 22:6
This is the home built based upon a fear of the LORD.

All around the table - family time together is something desperately needed.

8. The LORD bless you out of Zion

The LORD bless you out of Zion
Zion, where the LORD meets with His people! Physically it was Jerusalem!
Do we seek to dwell in His presence? Psalm Psalm 24:3-5

9. May you see the good of Jerusalem all your days

May you see the good of Jerusalem all your days
A desire for the LORD’s blessing as they please Him! Such typically comes from a deep devotion to Him!
It depends upon faithfulness, i.e. Moses, Solomon, etc.

10. May you see your children’s children Proverbs 17:6

Prolonged blessings.
Sadly, Israel failed to do this – cf. Judges 2:10

Proper grounding can extend for generations!
An elderly generation is increasingly concerned
Parents need to instill godly values in their children! Teach them to fear God - Matthew 6:33
If our society is to return to God it will begin in our homes
