4. ONLY GOD COULD SOLVE

O my lord! As your soul lives I am the woman who stood by you here, praying to the Lord.
For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition which I asked of Him.
Therefore I also have lent him to the Lord; as long as he lives he shall be lent to the Lord.

THEY RECOGNIZED THEIR HELPLESSNESS AND REACHED OUT IN FAITH.
I am poor and needy;
Yet the Lord thinks upon me.
You are my help and my deliverer;

THEY BELIEVED THAT GOD WAS REAL, AND ALTHOUGH OMNIPOTENT, HE WAS ALSO PERSONALLY INTERESTED IN THEM.
“The Lord lives!
Blessed be my Rock!
Let God be exalted,
The Rock of my salvation.”
