In pairs: Think back to your experiences of peer observation, As an observer Being observed As a manager / designer of a scheme Discuss: What were the (explicit and implicit) purposes of the observations? What, if anything, did you gain from them? What issues and problems did your experiences raise? ALTERNATIVE A – FOR SMALLER GROUP

5 Sharing experiences and views
Think back to your experiences of peer observation, As an observer Being observed As a manager / designer of a scheme On post-it notes, write any thoughts, problems, ideas, questions that cross your mind. Use a separate post-it for each point and write legibly. Stick your notes on the blank poster. Read other people’s post-its. Move the post-its around and group them in any way that seems appropriate. Use pens to annotate the post-its, e.g. arrows, circles, headings. DO NOT TALK THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS! ALTERNATIVE B – FOR LARGER GROUP
