2. 2 Kings 2:9-10
9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.
10 And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless , if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so .

3. Double portion of thy spirit
Elisha asked something difficult from Elijah before being taken up, “ the double portion of thy spirit be upon him.”
But Elijah said , if you see me being taken, so shall it be unto you ,but if not, it shall not be so .

4. Doing good
Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Matthew 14:14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.

5. Doing good Ctn…
Do good to the ministry wherever you go. When Jesus saw the sick he was moved with compassion and healed them.
John 11:21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
This tells us Martha believe if Jesus was there earlier enough He would have cured her brother

6. Anointing break the yoke of bondages
Anointing break the yoke of bondages. People are bondage in may ways. You need to be committed in the church. Do not remove the children from Sunday school after first service. Our child are raised from Sunday the child in way that he should go and when they grow up they cannot depart from the truth.

7. Some people has taken themselves to bondage after they have been released. E.g. Taking children from Sunday school before I their classes are over and going against the word of God.

Gilgal
Bethel
Jericho
Jordan

9. 1. Gilgal Gilgal means a place of rolling away.
2KINGS 2:1 And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.
They come to gilgal, a place of rolling . There are some people on phone book to remove off completely because they keep pulling you down than building you.

11. 2.Bethel
2KINGS 2:2 And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said unto him, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Bethel.
Bethel means house of God ,at bethel there is prayer and anointing of God. The devil lives here on earth, not in heaven, so let us come for ptf i.e

12. prayer task force on Tuesdays to fight warfare for I know the danger of your absence. You will be build up by corporate prayers.

13. 3. Jericho Jericho means fragrance.
Fragrance is ascending sweet smelling aroma .
2 kings 2:4 And Elijah said unto him, Elisha, tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Jericho. And he said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they came to Jericho.

14. 4. Jordan
2 kings2 :6 And Elijah said unto him, Tarry, I pray thee, here; for the LORD hath sent me to Jordan. And he said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And they two went on.
Jordan means a place of deep valley. God calls you in the valley to prepare you.

15. Jordan ctn… In the valley ,you connect to God with your mother tongue.
Psalms 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
In the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: valley cant be binded, they are meant to be there in heaven you don’t go with everything e.g. hot temper put it at the foot of cross

16. At Jordan its a place of near death experience.
At Jordan people become so sick .
At Jordan relationship becomes so sour until no one speaking to you in the family
In the valley you go alone not as couple
At valley some curse God like jobs wife
Toxic mouth are harmful-a tongue that spits poisonous words that kills.

17. ctn… A valley separate a Boy from real men.
A valley separate a Girl from real women
The hand of a brother cannot”chomoka” to slap his dear wife because he is born again, but bless his wife and children.
It’s the passing through the four stages that makes you bless your children having gone through the valley of the shadow of death for the lord is there.

18. How to receive double anointing
Its by going through the four stations in life from gilgal, to bethel to Jericho to Jordan.

19. Conclusion
Church is called to go through all the stations to receive double portion of thy spirit just as Elisha did and so it was to him. Elijah did 7 miracles whereas Elisha did 14 ,2 while he was dead.
