Articles of the Constitution
The Constitution has 7 “articles,” or sections, after the Preamble. It’s very important to know what rights the Constitution says you have and what responsibilities it says the government has so you can hold yourself and your leaders accountable. DIRECTIONS: Use pp in your textbook. Read Section 1 of the actual text of each of the Constitution’s 7 Articles. Read the annotations in modern-day English to help you understand what it means.
