Since 2010, approximately 62% of subcontract work awarded to Small and Disadvantaged Businesses Year after year, exceed subcontracting goals to Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Woman-Owned Small Businesses, and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses Strong M/P relationships featuring a Technology Transfer Program designed to enhance Protégé’s technical capabilities, strengthen project management capabilities, increase their business base/revenues, and improve their competitiveness

Recent Case Study: HX5 HX5, LLC NASA Johnson Space Center/NASA SB Office M/P Period of Performance: – 2018 Objectives: Enhance the ability of HX5, an 8(a), SDVOSB, WOSB, to secure and provide safe, outstanding performance on NASA contracts. Provide for individual technical skills enhancement in the areas of Project Management, Systems Engineering, and Business Development. Assist with corporate certification efforts for: OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP), AS9001 Quality Management System, and a Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) approved Procurement System. Major Accomplishments: Completed three formal Project Management mentorships and one in Electronics Design; Groundwork set for AS9001 certification of HX5 management system and quality plan development; Business Development guidance developed enhancing HX5’s ability to identify, target, and pursue Government contracts. Teamed in 2014 for TFOME contract at NASA GRC and in 2016 for TEST2 contract at NASA WSTF; re-won both contracts. HX5 participation increased 49% on the NASA JSC JETS contract from 51 to 76 employees .
