This calendar is given to indicate the order of topics, not exact timings. Assessment dates however are fixed point in the year and those dates are accurate.

Know how to determine a LCM Know how to calculate a fraction of a quantity. Know that % are out of 100 Use and apply multiplication and division skills when solving problems with decimals. Use and apply knowledge of LCM and equivalence to add and subtract proper fractions. Convert between mixed numbers and improper fractions. Add and subtract mixed numbers. Use and apply knowledge that % are out of 100 to calculate percentages of an amount. Explain how to and use known facts to determine new ones when multiplying and dividing by decimals. Solve problems involving the addition and subtraction of fractions and mixed numbers. Represent the addition and subtraction of fractions using diagrams. Increase and decrease an amount by a percentage. Solve problems involving percentages including those with simple interest.
