Tickets for Applebee’s Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser are for sale now!
It will be Saturday, March 4 from 7:30 am – 9:30 am. See a HOSA Member or your HOSA Advisor today; tickets are $5!

4. Jean Passes
The Key Club is selling jean passes to use this FRIDAY.  They are $2 and will be sold during lunch and from Ms. Paes or Coach Albritton.

5. DYW
Advance-purchase tickets for the Distinguished Young Woman Program will be sold during lunches March 2-3, in the SHS cafeteria.  Cost is $12.
DYW will be held at Lee Hall Auditorium Saturday, March 3 at 7:00. 

6. Football Banquet
Tickets for the football banquet are on sale in the athletic office for $15. The final day to purchase tickets is March 20. The banquet is March 27 at 6:30pm at First Baptist Church.

7. MSU in the Cafe
An MSU recruiter will be at lunch Thursday, March 2 to meet with students interested in MSU or with seniors who still have questions.

8. AP/Dual
AP/Dual Enrollment Night will be on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.in the Gym.  If you are interested in taking a Dual Enrollment or Advanced Placement course next school year, come and bring your parent or guardian.  If you have questions, please see Ms. Tedder.   

9. Doughnuts
National History Day is holding a dough nut fundraiser through Shipley’s, a dozen is $8. Please see Mr. Gilbert or a member of NHD to order. Orders must be placed by March 2.

13. Basketball
The Lady Jackets play in Jackson, Saturday in the quarterfinals against Harrison Central. Support these Lady Jackets in their quest to advance to the semifinals next Wednesday.

14. Softball
Softball plays at Noxapater Thursday and at New Hope on Friday.

15. Golf
Girls Golf will compete Thursday at Ole Miss Golf course.

16. Archery
Archery travels to Lafayette High School Thursday.

17. Track
The track team has their opening track meet March 3 in Hattiesburg.

You can still pre order a yearbook this week in room 100. The cost is $60.

20. Prom
Prom date has been changed to April 29. ALL fees must be paid by March 10 to Mrs. Arick in the front office in order to purchase a ticket.
If you’re interested in submitting a design for the 2017 Prom t shirt, please see Mrs. Craft. If your design is chosen you will get a free prom ticket and a free t shirt.

Senior girls who are interested in taking part in 2nd Annual Exquisitely Unique Pageant and Scholarship should register and turn in scholarship applications by March 31. If there are any questions, contact Mrs. May.

22. Youth Institute
Summer Youth Institute is a 9 day leadership program for current freshmen and sophomores committed to making a difference in their communities.
This FREE program takes place at the University of Mississippi from June 10-18, 2017.
Application deadline is March 6. Applications can be  winterinstitute.org .
