3 Cause and Formation Cause and information
The tsunami would be caused by a missive earthquake from plate tectonics in the ocean. It can also be caused by big landslides that are massive rocks and mud and dirt falling into the ocean which will cause the tsunami to form. How it forms as a big lump of water gathering more and more of water making It taller and bigger. It also gets faster as it goes farther when it reaches shore lines it starts to curve and then crash into the shores and massive destruction.

4 Geography The Tsunami is mostly common in Japan and Japan is the most riskiest place to be for a tsunami. Tsunamis are always hitting japan like the 2011 tsunami. The safest place to live from tsunamis is Ireland. Ireland is the safest place to live from tsunamis.

5 Frequency Tsunamis are most often every 2 years but every 15 years a massive tsunami will occur near shore lines and case massive destruction to lives and homes.

6 Severity There is a scale to detect a tsunami and there are 2 ways to detect actually. 1 it can be detect by open ocean tsunami buoys. 2 the other way to do this is by costal tide gages.

7 Damage The damage tsunamis do are catastrophic. A tsunami alone can do more damage and deaths then a seismic ground motion by itself. These tsunamis are 7.0 higher on the scale.

8 Are we Able to Predict/Forecast this event?
No we really cant, yet. But there are ways we may be able to. For starters 1 We can put out ocean buoys out further to detected earthquakes faster and sound off siren for tsunami. 2 Another reason why we sort of can is that we can locate were all the tsunamis has been located and then we can have an idea of where most earthquakes in ocean so we can detect them.

9 Technologies Some things we use to avoid Tsunami’s are normally vehicles. Such as helicopters. The reason for this is because When a tsunami hit’s there aren’t many things that can stop it. Sandbags might help prevent floods. But if a tsunami hit’s the best places to be is either at VERY high ground. Or In a flying vehicles.

10 Interesting & Important
Personally I don’t find much interesting. But I do think how the destruction leaves things is definitely interesting. Also it’s important to know that if an earthquake occurs. If your nearby water. It’s nice to have a Chopper handy in your backyard :3

11 Staying Safe :) Again. High Buildings or Flying Vehicles are the best in order to avoid tsunami’s.
