Aim: To build a modern communication infrastructure for data and voice transfer in such a way so as no user of these infrastructures would be limited in any way in his/her activities Increasing number of computers Building wireless network GigaPoP, HA network, Cisco homogenous June 21-24, 2005 EUNIS 2005, Manchester

Aim: a gradual development of the university central IS in order to include all applications in use and individual UIS as well as to offer such access naturally, in the form of omnipresent information portal User equipment is unimportant, we must support all of them – computers, PDA, mobiles, IP phones, stall terminals, voice centers, projections in halls etc. June 21-24, 2005 EUNIS 2005, Manchester

Aim: to secure the data against possible attack on technological equipment of the university and also to protect for internal misuse of the data by authorized users, administrators or heads of the university Try to find sensible way to protect data and secure an access in order to increase the level of confidence of the common users June 21-24, 2005 EUNIS 2005, Manchester

A clash-point between the pressure of modern society, demanding a transition to fully electronic form of communication, including the use of electronic indices or workflow with state administration, and the users protesting against anything new, untested and potentially dangerous The major ambition is not only passive defense, but also active public education June 21-24, 2005 EUNIS 2005, Manchester

Conclusions The aims stated above represent the mainstays of the university new information and communication strategy for the next five years To achieve and accomplished this aims we need good IT staff (development team), very good budget for new IT technologies and highly cooperating top management at university (taste to chage the university life) June 21-24, 2005 EUNIS 2005, Manchester
