Creating Senior Portfolio, becoming proficient in reading, writing, and vocabulary.

Provided Text: World Literature, CSU Expository Reading and Writing Course

5. Periods / Classes Journalism and Social Media – Period 2
Fall Semester Focus:
1. Effectively use social media tools like Facebook. Twitter, YouTube, and others and to maintain an appropriate online identity in the following forums: professional, personal , and public
2. Implement and execute social media campaigns for the
school.
3. Create School Newspaper
Required Materials:
Pen and paper
Phones or other devices that can shoot digital photos and video are encouraged but not required

Attentiveness, curiosity, determination

Grading Procedures:
All assignments are worth a set number of points. At all grading periods the student’s earned points will be divided by the total points possible. This will yield a percentage. The appropriate letter grade will be assigned based on the following standard grading scale: A = 100% -90.0%, B=89.9%-80.0%, C=79.9%-70.0%, D=69.9%-60.0%, F=59.9%-0%.
-Late assignments will be 10% off each day
-Many assignments are encouraged to be redone,
especially writing assignments.
