September 15, 2011 New Florida Governor Eddie Lee’s motto: “EMBRACE THE POSSIBILITIES!” INVOCATION KIWANIS SPOT Heavenly Father, Let us look to You for help in identifying the problems we can rectify in our community. And guide us in our efforts to administer aid to those in need. Help us to use our time and energy wisely, not to waste it on insignificant matters that benefit no one. And now bless this food to our use and us to Your service. Amen Thank you to Lal Ramdeen for chairing the meeting in President Butch Shadwell’s absence. Kiwanis International’s continuing service focus is called “Young Children: Priority One”. This program seeks to serve the special needs of young children from prenatal development to age 5 in four areas: maternal and child health, child care and development, parent education and support, and safety programs and pediatric trauma care. “UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL” From: “Invocations for Kiwanis Occasions” by James J.
