2. The Marco Island Marriott Hotel has "sold out." We have made alternate arrangements at the Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort and Spa. Our beaches children need your help as beaches families continue to struggle to find jobs and pay their bills. Back to School with BEAM, on SATURDAY, AUGUST 13th, at Beach United Methodist Church, helps beaches children get ready for school, which starts on August 23rd in Duval County. The children will receive new backpacks, new school supplies, new shoe vouchers, new socks and underwear, dental supplies, and gently used clothing and shoes. Back to School with BEAM dollars are also used for our dental outreach. As in past years, our goal is to reach as many beaches children and families during Back to School with BEAM as possible. This year the need is going to be greater than ever.
