24. VERY! How hard is the QCS test?
It needs to challenge the brightest students in the state. It is designed with some quite reasonable/easy questions and some very, very difficult questions.
It takes practice to learn to be good at answering the questions.

25. Why does it matter?
Every OP eligible student does the test and their results in each subject are scaled
Each student in the subject has their results compared to the average for each class
It matters VERY MUCH if someone is doing a slack job on the QCS test – all in the subject can suffer
We work hard to ensure you prepare well and take it seriously

Practising the tests
Learning the particular skills required in each test (in rotations throughout the year)
