5 Materials and Equipment
Non-Residue, Solvent-Based Cleaner Rags or Cloth Abrasive Cleaning Pad Wire Brush Steel Weighted Roller (Optional) Scissors UniBond ST Roll

6 Surface Preparation Surface Must be Clean and Dry
Use Non-Residue, Solvent-Based Cleaner Power Wash the Surface, Including Flashings Remove Rust and Flaking Paint Scrape, Sand, Wire Brush or Proper Media Blasting Remove All Silicone Materials Score the Surface of Single-Ply Roofs

7 Application Steps Locate the Area to be Sealed or Repaired
Clean the Surface Remove Release Liner Apply UniBond ST Apply Pressure Inspect the Tape Apply Approved Garland Cold Process Roof Coating

8 1. Locate Area to be Sealed/Repaired

9 2. Clean the Surface Surface Must Be Clean and Dry
Remove Oil, Grease, and Silicone Materials Remove Rust and Flaking Paint

10 3. Remove Release Liner Grab Edges with Thumb and
Forefinger Then Push Fingers Together, Bunching the Tape in the Middle Quickly Snap the Tape Back and Forth 7-10 Times Push Fingers Together Again, Allowing Liner to “Pop” From the Tape Peel Liner From Tape in Short, Workable Sections

11 4. Apply UniBond ST Apply Tape Uniformly to the Surface to Prevent Wrinkles and Other Discrepancies Do Not Stretch Material

12 5. Apply Pressure Use Steel Roller or Hands to Apply Pressure
Pressure Will Activate the Bonding Process & Removes Minor Discrepancies For Best Results, Use a Steel Weighted Roller

13 6. Inspect The Tape Ensure that UniBond ST is Uniformly Adhered
Use Steel Roller to Remove Remaining Discrepancies

14 7. Apply Coating System UniBond ST Must Be Coated On the Day of Application Approved Cold Process Coatings Include: CPR™ White Revitalizer™ Metal White-Knight®/ White-Stallion® White-Knight/ White-Stallion Plus
