3 Goal 16: Improve the professionalism, teaching skills, subject knowledge and computer literacy of teachers throughout their entire careers. Goal 20: Increase access amongst learners to a wide range of media, including computers, which enrich their education. Policy Priorities Goal 27: Improve the frequency and quality of the monitoring and support services provided to schools by district offices, partly through better use of e-Education.

6 Expectation from teachers
Maximum utilization of eLearning resources at their schools. Attending workshops organized Participate in ICT matters. Plan and purchase ICT tools for the school. Formation of functional TLTE or ICT committee

7 Formation of committees
Each circuit should have TLTE committee. District TLTE committee will be formed by deputy chairperson of circuit committees. School should have TLTE committee comprising of: 2 elearning,2 MST,2 librarians and other.

9 Roles of the school committee
To advocate the implementation of TLTE functions. Request a slice from budget for TLTE programmes. Plan the utilization of budget. Drafting of ICT policy Ensure the maximum utilization of TLTE resources.

10 Guidelines on the development of ICT policy
Points on developing an ICT policy A Vision and strategy Safety and security – Storage; Stock-taking- Retrieval system; Responsible personnel Procedures on using ICTs;- Who, When, Where Behavioral code of conduct (Treatment & Handling of IT equipment) Handling & Faults; Handling and theft What to install or keep into your computer
