As we walk through 2017 we need Jesus to help us.

4. There is an Issachar Anointing to Understand Turbulent Times
Israel was in a civil war, a national crisis, and King David needed men with wisdom how to proceed.

5. Like Sons of Issachar – We Must Understand the Times
God measures time by generations.
Four generations completes a full saeculum of time.
Children, Parents, Grand-Parents, Great-G-Parents
Four generations or saeculum are cyclical - connected like seasons of the year.
Generations, like individuals, live and then pass away.
With each generation there is a turning in the culture.

6. We Must Understand Turning of the Generations
The First Turning is a Cultural High.
The Second Turning is an Awakening.
The Third Turning is an Unraveling.
(We have all just lived through a Third Turning, an unraveling.)
The Fourth Turning is a Crisis.

7. We Must Understand America’s History
In America, Every Fourth Turning has been a Crucible for our Nation.
The first crucible involved the founding of our nation and we know it as the American Revolution,
The second crucible was the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln writes of civil war as a “testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure.”
The third crucible was the Great Depression, , and World War II, It was a test of our survival as a
The forth crucible is upon us.

8. Watch and Pray
32 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33 Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. 34 It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch.

In Ezekiel 33 a watchman is like one who keeps watch over a city. He is stationed on the walls, looking out for the approaching enemy and any danger.
Watching requires an aggressive stance in prayer.
It is linked to the prophetic ministry.

11. Watching and Praying
Watching and praying involves a close relationship with the Lord and a clear understanding of biblical truth.
It involves times of meditating upon God’s Word while abiding in the Lord.
We must pray in the Spirit of God, anticipating the return of the Lord and being alert at all times.

The Paris conference 2 weeks ago Sunday, in which representatives from 70 nations met to sign an anti-Israel agreement, was a final showdown that pitted the 70 sons of Jacob against the 70 nations under Gog in a pre- Messianic stance.
This Biblical concept of 70 nations reappears in ancient Jewish sources as the 70 nations that will rise up against Israel in the End of Days. The Talmud states that the numerical  value of the Hebrew letters of Gog and Magog (גוג ומגוג) is 70.

They are about to move the US embassy to Jerusalem.
