Computer peripherals are additional computer equipment needed for the other purposes. For example, network connection, printing, or take pictures. Peripheral include Printer, Scanner, Modem, Network Card, and others. Installing peripherals include physical installation and the installation of the software. Modem is a computer equipment to connect computer with the telphone lines so that data related to Internet Service Provider (ISP). There are two types of modem, the internal modem and external modem. Internal modem is a modem which is plugged in the motherboard in the form of a card. With the Installation techniques as well as another card in general. In the driver installation, usually in the Windows XP operating system will automatically run the driver installation. The steps is as follows:
Enter the default printer driver CD, in this module the printer which is to be installed is Canon BJC-2100 printer.
Once the CD is entered, Windows will automatically run the executable file and a dialog box will appear as follows :

Scanner
Step by step physical scanner installation :
Plug the cable connector on the scanner USB port on the computer correctly.
Enter the Scanner Driver CD, and in this case we will take the example CanoScan 3200/3200F scanner.

Corrective action is intended as a first step that can be taken to overcome the abnormal conditions .
Abnormal symptoms in the PC component can be from an error in the computer .
Corrective action that needs to be done is to identify the error message that appears.
We need to make records or reports for any damage or maintenance occurs on a PC components. Reports can be a log sheet or the like.

Corrective actions: actions taken to make improvements to the peripheral.
