There are many problems… But also many solutions! For example, globally poverty has been halved since 2000. But how can the problems, like the ones you’ve seen in the ‘Explore Global Issues’ section of the Schools for Future Youth Website be improved?

There are many problems… But also many solutions! There are many ways you could think about why problems exist and what solutions there can be. The following is one way to help you think about it. You could explore these ideas more yourself…

In order to improve issues, we need to understand why people experience problems… Often this is because people lack POWER But WHY? LACK POWER

10 Where Has Most Difference Been Made?
How has success been achieved around the world? Example one: Reducing global poverty by 50%. This has mainly been led by the governments of China and India through economic growth; E.g. companies in these countries have provided better jobs. Example two: Increasing school enrolment in Rwanda. This has mainly been achieved by the government of Rwanda but with lots of support and funding from international governments and charities to build schools and train teachers. Can you think of other examples?
