2. Like online sales, offline sales are made in the same manner. The only difference is the processor doesn’t approve the transactions and are stocked up for future upload.

3. There are two ways for inactive mode to take place: a. Lost Network Connectivity: When you are in inactive mode you will see a message while signing in. You can still work on the application and you will still receive messages informing you about the inactive mode usage. b. Force inactive mode: You can use Stay Offline option for forcing the app into inactive mode if your connections are weak or you are in undetermined network coverage and looking for conducting the sales.

4. Once the connection is established again, the application will be activated in online mode. If the payments are made in inactive mode then the application will ask you to upload the transactions once the connection is build or Stay offline option is disabled. These transactions will be uploaded in the background and the user can still accept the new transactions.

5. How to upload an offline sale? Once a sale has been made in inactive mode, then for authorization it should be uploaded to the processor. There are two ways of performing it: a. Individual Uploads:  Go to Settings window.  Make sure you have set the Stay Offline option to off.  Click on Transaction History.  Press the Offline Only button.  Choose the transaction you want to upload.  Press Upload button. And the chosen transaction will be uploaded.

6. b. Logging in inactive mode:  Make sure Stay Offline option is set to Off.  Log out of the application.  You will get a message that you are inactive when you log into the application next time. It will ask you whether you want to continue. Press Yes.  For confirming your identity, type your password.  You will receive another message to let you know about the stored the transactions. It will ask you whether you want to upload it. Press on Upload button.  All the transactions will be uploaded in the application.
