Better BER (Bit Error Rate ) performance compared to simple WiMAX. Determined by Space Time Coding & Spatial Multiplexing. WiMAX includes MATRIX A & MATRIX B MIMO:- 1)MATRIX A (reliable communication) Improves SNR at receiver side. Expand cell radius. Use of high order modulation to increase transmission speed. Better throughput. 2) MATRIX B (increased channel capacity) Unconventional data streams over each antenna. Perfect signal conditions. Use of data rate according to the number of antennas used.
