After reading, rewrite and answer the following questions: 1.Besides industrialization, how were the daily lives of Americans changed in the late 1800s? 2.What interests did many Americans believe the country needed to protect at this time? 3.What is imperialism? 4.What were the main factors of imperialism during the late 1800s?

Once involved the United States funded the Panamanian Revolt, which separate Panama from Columbian control. 4.Answers will vary

Why did his critics object to them?  The Founders believed powers not granted to the president in the Constitution were forbidden. Roosevelt believed powers not forbidden were granted. 3.What are the implications of each view? Which do you believe is wiser? 4.What major monuments and parks located in Arizona were created by the federal government during Teddy Roosevelt’s Administration?
