Key Cooperative Key Cooperative reduces downtime by 92%, decreases recovery time objective by 94%, and boosts performance with POWER8 and Storwize V5000 systems financed by IBM Global Financing with a fair-market value lease that allows them to streamline cash flow Business Need: Key Cooperative needs to run its business around the clock. Any lag time can cause unaffordable consequences. The cooperative had older IBM POWER servers in two locations. Recently, a simple initial program load caused downtime. Key Cooperative sought to refresh its infrastructure to maintain system uptime. Solution: Key Cooperative built a new IT infrastructure comprising IBM POWER8 servers with PowerVM and PowerHA and IBM V5000 storage, configured in two separate locations for continuous availability. They attached a Storwize V5000 device to the Power server for mobility and application isolation. To streamline its cash flow, the customer engaged IBM Global Financing to finance the solution with a fair-market-value lease. Industry/IOT: Retail/NA Canada Here’s is a reference of an actual storwize client from Canada and how they were able to refresh its infrastructure with a Fair Market Value Lease option from IBM Global Financing.: Key Cooperative reduces downtime by 92%, decreases recovery time objective by 94%, and boosts performance with POWER8 and Storwize V5000 systems financed by IBM Global Financing with a fair-market value lease that allows them to streamline cash flow Key Cooperative is an agriculture and business landscape cooperative formed in It provides products and services in eight divisions: agronomy, energy, feed, grain, lumber, automotive products and transportation. The organization has 3,200 members and serves customers in 12 communities in Iowa. Key Cooperative has approximately 220 employees and is based in Roland, Iowa, in the US. Link for more information
