8. TOYS FOR TOTS Collection begins November 9-December 16!! Bring in a new, unwrapped toy to your homeroom teacher (homeroom with the most toys collected will have breakfast provided) Get a raffle ticket for each toy donated for a chance to win breakfast at the Oswego Fire Department!!

9. Character Counts! Pillar of the Month: CARING Be yourself, everyone else is taken! It is important that we know and care about ourselves before we can have mature, connected relationships with others. Many times, teenagers try to be like others rather than trying to figure out who they really are. Don’t think you know who you are yet? Try this: Write down 3 lists of words that describe who you are. Make a column of Nouns (sister/brother, son/daughter), Descriptive Words (happy, tall, funny) and Verbs (plays games, likes routine, swims). You probably know more about yourself than you thought! 10. ART STUDENTS! Mrs. Baun would like you to pick up your art projects on display in the LRC to make room for your Large Scale Sculptures. Anything left after next Friday, November 20th, will be recycled!

12. The 8 th grade basketball team beat Plank last night in both games. Strong team defense in the second half, led by Jack Kahoun and AJ Fruend strong rebounding efforts lifted the Tigers to 52 - 27. Will Wainscott led all scorers 20 points. Joey Niesman added 12 points while jack Kahoun chipped in with 11 points and had several assists. Jack Marker and Aiden Williams also contributed in the win. The Tigers won the second game 45 – 32. Marchello Nelson led the scoring effort with 14 points. Aiden Williams added 11 points, while Ryan Lemerman chipped in with 10 points. Damien Barazza, Ryan Chivari, Tommy Picha, Ryan Kazda, Griffin Keltner and Steven Watts also contributed in the win. Reminder: No practice today after school and practice Saturday from 8 – 10:30.
