7. It’s finally time to start … Thompson’s Holiday Club! Holiday Caroling Club Information 2015 Thompson’s Holiday Club starts on Tuesday, November 17 th, after school in the choir room! Don’t miss the chance to learn how to go caroling with your friends! See Mrs. Kleinmaier for details

8. TOYS FOR TOTS Collection begins November 9-December 16!! Bring in a new, unwrapped toy to your homeroom teacher (homeroom with the most toys collected will have breakfast provided) Get a raffle ticket for each toy donated for a chance to win breakfast at the Oswego Fire Department!!

9. Character Counts! Pillar of the Month: CARING Be yourself, everyone else is taken! It is important that we know and care about ourselves before we can have mature, connected relationships with others. Many times, teenagers try to be like others rather than trying to figure out who they really are. Don’t think you know who you are yet? Try this: Write down 3 lists of words that describe who you are. Make a column of Nouns (sister/brother, son/daughter), Descriptive Words (happy, tall, funny) and Verbs (plays games, likes routine, swims). You probably know more about yourself than you thought! 11. This Friday---it’s a great day to… SHOW YOUR STRIPES!!! Whoa, the sun is bright today! You know what else is? Our futures! Make sure your outfit is ne-ON point this Friday by wearing whatever neon/ bright clothes you have!

12. BOYS BASKETBALL The 8 th grade basketball team defeated Jefferson in both games last night to improve their record to 6 – 0. The Tigers won the first game 54 – 45 led by strong defensive efforts from Joey Niesman and AJ Fruend. Will Wainscott led all scorers with 25 points. Jack Kahoun added 20 points, while Jack Marker chipped in with 7 points. The Tigers won the second game 37 – 14. Daemon Barraza led all scorers with a game high 13 points. Tommy Picha added 8 points, and Bennett Wojcik chipped in with 7 points. Ryan Lemerman, Ryan Kazda, and Aiden Williams also contributed in the win. All players please report to the LRC for study hall after school.
