1 HOW TO USE UNIVIEW PRODUCT-SMB

2 2 How to configure EZStreamer You can configure a stream media server to forward live preview data on a camera if video streams on the camera reach the limit or the network bandwidth is insufficient. The picture shows the steps in detail.

3 3 How to configure EZStreamer 1.Add camera to Stream Media server. 2. Open the EZStreamer

4 4 How to configure EZStreamer 3. Play the live view

5 5 How to configure IPC record on EZStation 1. Double click to start the EZSrecorder 2. Start EZStation, enter the Device Management interface.

6 6 How to configure IPC record on EZStation 3. Now, the EZRecorder has been added and started.

7 7 How to configure IPC record on EZStation 4. Click configure -> Disk, assign the storage space for the EZRecorder.

8 8 How to configure IPC record on EZStation 5. Here I pre-allocate 198GB in the D dick for the EZRecorder.

9 9 How to configure IPC record on EZStation 6. Then click Apply to make the configuration effective.

10 How to configure IPC record on EZStation 7. Allocate the storage space of the IPC, here takes 12GB as an example.

11 How to configure IPC record on EZStation 8. Set the time schedule for storage. Select the template or set manually.

12 How to configure IPC record on EZStation 9. Enter the Playback interface, click camera and find the IPC you have set the storage schedule for. File Mode:

13 How to configure IPC record on EZStation Timeline Mode:

14 How to add a device on EZView 1. Tap Menu and choose Devices to enter the device menu.

15 How to add a device on EZView 2. Auto Search to add the device. If there are some devices fail to been added. Pls check that the username, password and device status are valid and try again.

16 How to add a device on EZView 3. Add the device Manually. There are three ways to add the device manually. P2P: Add the device that supports the P2P function (entering the registration code or scanning the QR code). IP/Domain: Add the device by entering the device IP or Domain. EZDDNS: Add the device by entering its domain name.

17 How to add a device on EZView 4. Scan the QR code to add the device. If you select Scan, aim your phone camera at the QR code and include it within the scanning box. Alternatively, tap to choose the picture of the QR code in your phone and it will be recognized automatically.

18 How to add a device on EZView 5. Save the devices. Tap Start Live View to start live view or tap to save the device information.

19 How to do troubleshoot on EZCloud When you find your ezcloud device cannot be online or cann’t see the live view, pls do the troubleshooting as the picture shown.

20 How to recover the EZStation’s password The current default username and password has been change to admin/123456, but if the software has been re-installed or updated, the password keeps previous default password (admin/123456 or the password users changed to). What if the password has been forgotten? 1. Copy EZStation installation directory, see below(default is C:\Program Files\EZStation

21 How to recover the EZStation’s password 2. Uninstall the EZstation 3. Enter the installation path in step 1, delete all the directories under Ezstation 4. Reinstall the software and login the Ezstation use default username and password.

22 IP search of EZStation and EZTools PC IP: 192.168.0.10 192.168.1.10 Gateway: 192.168.1.1 Device1 IP: 192.168.0.13 Gateway: 192.168.0.1 Device4 IP: 192.168.0.13 Gateway: 192.168.0.1 Device2 IP: 192.168.1.13 Gateway: 192.168.1.1 Switch2:192.168.3.1 Switch1:192.168.1.1 Device5 IP: 192.168.3.13 Gateway: 192.168.3.1 Device3 IP: 192.168.2.13 Gateway: 192.168.2.1 There are some typical network topology when we use EZStation or EZTools to search the device.

24 How to check EZview video gets stuck Usually because the upload bandwidth is limited, we recommend to watch 3rd stream (smooth mode). This mode cost less bandwidth. EZview live stream flow:

25 How to check EZview video gets stuck For example: Enable 3 rd stream and set bitrate 128kbps, then the upload bandwidth should be higher than 128kbps. While in another picture, the stream we get is only 8.0KB/S, that is 64kbps, much smaller than 128kbps we set. So such configuration will leads to stuck. We can try to set 3 rd stream bitrate lower than 64kbps.

26 FAQ for SMB solution 1. Common Network Usually it is called a Single NAT where device A is located in the picture below, we can connect with servers by UPNP (port mapping). It is called Multi NAT where device B is located in the picture below, it requires use tunnel to connect the server. Internet ROUTER -A IPC- B NVR-B myCloud server STUN server PC IPC-A NVR-A ROUTER -B APP

27 FAQ for SMB solution 2. How to check the network mode? Login EZcloud website, you can check about the network mode, Offline means the device is offline, Online means the device is online through UPNP, Online(NAT) means device is online through NAT, Error NAT means the router doesn’t support UDP.

28 FAQ for SMB solution 3. Offline/Online(NAT) after configured UPNP? UPNP or port mapping should use the correct mapping, which including router side and device side. Please check router side or device side enable UPNP/port mapping, and the parameters are accordant. 3.1 Device offline Login EZCloud to check if device keeps active. If it is offline, then you need to confirm whether it is correctly connecting to public network, or whether the public network server is connected. 3.2 Some device get online quick, some are not This concerns with certain network structure, currently devices get online through UPNP/port mapping or NAT tunnel. UPNP/port mapping is used in single NAT, it will be faster, NAT tunnel requires the client connects to server first, then connects to the device, a bit slower. This is used in multi NAT.

29 FAQ for SMB solution 4. Cannot get verification email when changing account information? Please check about the email trash box. 5. EZStation call LAN NVR, the streams are slow and not fluent? Please check if there is network bandwidth limitation, commonly it needs 1000Mbps network interface with a 16-ch NVR.

30 FAQ for SMB solution 6. User does not exist when login? It may cause by the incorrect server choice, please choose international on the up right of login page.

31 FAQ for SMB solution 7. Cannot call streams by mobile app? The IPC side should enable corresponding streams to acquire the stream on mobile app, Clear/Balanced/Smooth related to Main/Sub/Third stream. 8. Cannot change NVR IP address with EZTools? Please try to ping the NVR, the IP address changing operation should be after successfully pinged.
