2. OBJECTIVE We will be able to name careers in the career clusters of Business, Finance, Government, Human Services, Information Technology, and Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics.

3. CAREER CLUSTER What is a Career? A person’s WORK or JOB Most people work for 30 years or longer WOW! That’s a long time! What is a Career Cluster? A way to organize careers or jobs into groups that are similar.

4. BUSINESS MANAGEMENT & ADMINISTRATION Business: Making a living through commerce (buying, selling, & trading). Management: process of dealing with and controlling people. Administration: process of running a business or organization. How do people make money in business? What is the difference between management and leading? What are some jobs that fit into this cluster? What are some things you would need to be good at to work in this field?

Mathematics: Science of numbers, quantity, and space. Why is this such a fast growing cluster? Why is this the only cluster that includes jobs not found on earth?
