4 2016-2017 New Reporting Requirements FHSP-COLLEGE-CAREER-INSTRUCTION-INDICATOR- CODE data element created - Submissions 1 and 3 Indicates whether a student in grades seven or eight has received instruction in preparing for high school, college, and a career that includes information regarding the creation of a high school personal graduation plan under TEC 28.02121, the distinguished level of achievement described by TEC 28.025(b-15), each endorsement described by TEC 28.025(c-1), college readiness standards, and potential career choices and the education needed to enter those careers.

5 2016-2017 New Reporting Requirements IEP-CONTINUER-INDICATOR-CODE – Submission 1 Per Texas Education Code TEC 39.053(g-2), indicates whether a student a) is at least 18 years of age as of September 1 of the school year as reported for the Fall semester PEIMS submission of the current year and has satisfied the credit requirements for high school graduation, b) has not completed his or her individualized education program under 19 TAC Section 89.1070 (b)(2) and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (20 U.S.C. Section 1400 et seq.), and c) is enrolled and receiving individualized education program services.

6 2016-2017 New Reporting Requirements The Classroom Link Data collection will be expanded to include grades Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten – Submission 3 PK and KG students will be reported with all course sections completed and not completed with a Pass/Fail Credit Indicator Code of 00 – Not Applicable – Submission 3 Additional requirements for High Quality PK Additional requirements for Minutes

7 2016-2017 New Reporting Requirements Community and Student Engagement Indicators – Submission 3 Per HB 2804 TEA must collect from all schools their choice of 3 out of the 8 CASE Indicators and ratings criteria that the schools will rate themselves on. The categories are: Fine Arts Wellness and Physical Education Community and Parental Involvement 21 st Century Workforce Development Program Second Language Acquisition Program Digital Learning Environment Dropout Prevention Strategies Education Programs for Gifted and Talented

8 2017-2018 New Reporting Requirements MILITARY–ENLISTMENT–INDICATOR–CODE – Submission 1 Per TEC 39.053(c)(4)(a)(ix) – TEA is to collect the percentage of students who enlist in the armed forces of the United States (after graduation). 9 Educators – How to Find Your Unique ID You can view your Unique ID number (Uniq-ID) on your TEAL profile. To find it: 1. Log in at https://pryor.tea.state.tx.us/ with your TEAL user name and password.https://pryor.tea.state.tx.us/ 2. Click Edit My Profile in the Self-Service menu on the left. 3. Look for the Uniq-ID label under the section with your name information. The ten-digit UID is next to it. If there is no Uniq-ID, click on the "Click Here" link and fill in the SSN and other information required to match your profile to your Uniq-ID. Please note that your district, charter school, or employing organization also has your Unique ID number on file. (It is not the same number as your TEA ID, used for educator certification testing.)
