1. July 2013 Updates: More family news Here the girls look like me at various ages… I had exactly the same haircut then and Hahgoot is wearing my jumper!

2. As it was the middle of winter and the temperatures were getting very low at night, Misty got an upgrade to some cosier accommodations, together with her two hot water bottles...

3. Left: I was very surprised to get these stamps at the local post office! Not every day you get stamps with Hebrew on them in Australia... Right: this happens sometimes around here – people leave their excess fruit for the neighbours to share. Very generous!

4. The girls LOVE their organic apples!

5. Found a way to get the girls to communicate with their grandma on Skype – they can sing in the microphone! Right: at last Alma tried the rocket ship at the shopping centre

6. Alma’s numeracy and literacy skills really benefit from spending time with her knowledgeable sister. They only speak Hebrew between them.

7. Playing with the yoga cards – Doing the poses and playing a memory game

8. We started a project of sawing monster puppets from felt, but it didn’t go very well. The girls constantly moaned and whinged, complaining about tangled strings, melting down over the amount of eyes their monster will have... So we’ll be finishing these another time.

10. I found a fantastic workbook for my stickers obsessed child: a super heroes workbook, where ordinary adorable pets turn into evil fighting heroes! Both girls were impressed!

11. Hahgoot especially enjoyed the humour and the animals’ hilarious names.

13. We had a lovely lunch with our neighbours from number 3, Jim and Judy. Judy brought us beautiful flowers and a great chocolate cake. They are excellent neighbours, we are very lucky to be next door to them. In our next presentation: So many pen pals, so little time...
