Benefits of Solar Panels Presented by Anelsy Rodriguez Osvaldo Morales Class of Environment Economics Professor Sean Macdonald

Radiant Energy The Sun is our planet main source of life. It gives energy to many species and men has used it since the dawn of history. The sun gives us the ability to fulfill our needs. Men learned how to created fire using the light of the sun and hundreds years later we rule this planet. We now know how to collect the solar radiation that continually pours on our planet. It allows us to get heat and electricity. A Solar Panel, it is a device that uses the solar energy to convert light into electricity.

Solar Energy Solar energy is one of the fasted growing resources for safe and beneficial energy. “solar energy, radiant light and heat from the sun, is harnessed using a range of ever-evolving technologies such as solar heating, solar thermal electricity, and more”(solar energy).

Advantages of Solar Energy Clean Sustainable Free Provide electricity to remote places

Major Uses of Solar Energy  Daylight  Drying Agricultural Products  Space Heating  Water Heating  Generating Electrical Power  Concentrating Solar Power (CSP)  Photovoltaics

main objectives of solar panels 1.Cost-effective 2.Safe for the environment 3.Creating new job

Cost effectiveness “the global solar electricity market is currently more than $10 billion/year, and the industry is growing more than 30% per annum.” Being produced in the united states help prevent cost prices rising due to limitations and taxation on foreign manufacturing. Homeowner collect revenue from utilities if produce more energy than needed from solar panels.

Safe for the environment Solar energy especially when compared to its top competitor nuclear energy, has been found to have the least amount of environmental risks. How is it different? The main reason why it Is safer for the environment I due to the fact that it is a renewable technology. Another benefits that arise from solar energy are reduction of discharge from greenhouses and lines of electricity grids.

Creating new job Due to the many different types of occupations needed to produce and control solar energy, many new jobs have been and continue to be getting formed. Creation of occupations such a sale, designer, technicians, and construction worker to mobilize the system are just a few of the jobs that have been created.

Advantages Solar power helps to slow/stop global warming. Global warming threatens the survival of human society, as well as the survival of countless species solar panel systems create electricity without producing global warming pollution. Solar power is now very clearly, and it is one of the most important solutions to the global warming crisis.

Advantages putting solar panels in our homes is likely to save us tent thousands of dollars. The average 20-year savings for Americans who went solar in 2011 were projected to be a little over $20,000. In the populous states of New York, California, and Florida, the projected savings were over $30,000. In the sunny but expensive paradise known as Hawaii, the projected savings were nearly $65,000! Solar power saves us money

advantages Similar to the energy security boost, solar power provides the great benefit of Energy independence. Solar panels cannot be bought or monopolized. It is free for all to use. Once we have solar panels on your roof, we have an essentially independent source of electricity that is all ours. This is important for individuals, but also for cities, counties, states, countries, and even companies. Ukraine in recent years has saved approximately $3 billion in reduced oil and gas imports from Russia thanks to the solar power. Solar power provides energy independence.

Remote PV Power Photovoltaic systems are ideal for remote applications where other power sources are impractical or unavailable, such as in the Swiss Alps or on navigational buoys. It is not practical to connect these applications to an electric grid. They are also used to power small, independently placed objects, such as billboards and road signs.

Conclusion The sun is a powerful source that can help our planet by giving us clean, reusable energy to power our world. The uses of solar panel does not create pollution, and if used wisely can help us become less dependent on other more costly and damaging forms of power.
