Consequences of Global Warming Brian Andersen

Rising sea levels As the Earths temperature increases, the Polar ice caps will begin to melt, thus expelling millions of gallons of water into the oceans. The rising sea levels will eventually get to the point where they will flood major cities on the coasts.

Amphibian Eggs Amphibian eggs will be destroyed due to the increase in uv radiation, and temperature. Due to the fact that they have soft shells and are in the shallows of creeks and ponds, they extremely vulnerable to damage.

Global Weather Patterns The oceans surface will absorb more heat, thus making hurricanes and typhoons much more common. Droughts may occur in some places, while severe floods may occur in other areas.

Human Effects Humans will be extremely vulnerable to uv radiation and other bad effects. Skin cancer is one of the major risks involved with global warming (for humans that is).

Other Effects Many animals and will be affected by this. Migratory animals will not have to travel as far south in the winter, so the ecosystems that once depended on their migration will now be missing their presence.
