5 Remember that density is the mass of one cubic centimetre (or cubic metre) of a substance. So for example, gold has a density of 19.3 g/cm 3. 7 Density of regular shapes volume = length x width x height density = mass/volume mass using a scale length width height

8 Now measure the density of the materials on the trolley using the method described. Design your own table of results (using a pencil and ruler). Take some time to think about this! You have brass, Perspex, steel, copper, wood, aluminium and lead

12 Now measure the density of the liquids and objects on the trolley using the methods described. Design your own table of results (using a pencil and ruler). Take some time to think about this! You ethanol, cooking oil, water, acetone and mercury. Can you also then find the density of a “boss”
