10. Suicide Prevention Suicide is the 3 rd leading cause of death for teens 15 – 19. More than 90% of those who commit suicide are suffering from depression or mental disorder or have a history of abusing alcohol/drugs. Cluster suicides account for about 5% of all teen suicides
