2  http://earth.google.com http://earth.google.com  Download tab – FREE Google Earth 6  PC (XP, Vista or Windows 7), Mac OS X 10.5 or later  OR check for upgrades!  Help Tab, check for upgrades online  New features include:  3D imagery of buildings and terrain  Street view!

3  In the Search area use the “Fly to” tab  Enter a specific address Eg. School, business, home (24 Sussex Drive, Ottawa)  Enter a specific landmark or tourist location

4  Use zoom icon or mouse scroll feature to zoom in and out  Shift-left click and drag mouse will change view to panoramic or horizontal  If you zoom in enough you will get Street View and Ground Level View, then Select 3D Buildings in Layer area (drag the Man icon to the location)

6  Many people have done most of the work for you by posting photos with descriptions!  Select a photo icon – eg. Library at Parliament Hill, Ottawa Panoramic Camera

7  Use real life images like buildings and use the measuring feature to calculate perimeter or area!

8  Biology Area  Google Trees (eg. Cacoal Brazil)  Space Science  Explore Mars, Moon and Sky!  Weather  Use the Earth Gallery to view weather events  Eg. Hurricane Katrina

9  Visit historical sites! (Athen’s Greece)  Historical Imagery – see how changes have taken place over time!  Topography
