3. Readers’ Guide to periodical literature is useful:  For finding information on current events.  Current events generally can not be found in books.  For finding up-to-date information about people.

4.  There are two types of entries in the Readers’ Guide to periodical literature: subject entries and name entries.

5.  A name entry may have articles written by the person and/or articles written about the person.

6.  A subject entry may have a see reference and/or a see also reference. If you find one or both of these, it means that you can look up those terms in the same book you’re using and find additional information.
