2 MobileGIS is a custom app built in- house to aid appraisers in the field.

3 Application Background Develop tools to improve our current appraisal process and maximize our appraiser’s time in the field. Application with custom GIS tools & features Local Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal(CAMA) data for the entire county Paperless solution that cuts back on research and planning time done in the office No Internet connection required

4 Technical Details The application was built using Microsoft Visual Studio and uses local database files to store all CAMA/appraisal data. 7 In the field appraisal All map features and tools can be used in the field as data is stored locally on each appraiser’s laptop PC ▫No internet connection Using the map, all CAMA data for Polk County can be retrieved Visual map layers provide easily recognizable information and warns of potential issues ▫Appraisers can act immediately

13 Tangible Business Accounts TPP hyperlinks pulls tangible data as opposed to real estate data Open tangible reports including the DR405, tangible personal property tax return Add businesses to the accounts reviewed list

14 TPP Tax Return (DR405) Print/Scan returns in the field and have owners file on the spot

20 Damage Assessment Process Requested to modify MobileGIS to bring it’s benefits to the Damage Assessment process Assessment teams are now able to record all property damage within the application ▫GPS Data provides location after Disasters Included a number reports that can be generated instantly ▫Values are retrieved from the PCPA Current and historical assessment data is saved to a central database server at the EOC

21 2017 Aerial Photography PCPA is preparing for the 2017 collection of aerial photography Working with the DOR and SWFWMD to acquire 6in ortho-images ▫Traditional Aerial Photography In 2014 we acquired 9in oblique imagery for the entire county ▫For 2017 we are soliciting agencies to contribute towards the purchase of 4in city/9in rural obliques Please contact Sharhonda Knight for more Info. ▫June 17 th Deadline
