5. 2014 Forming a Peer Group  Pick your theme.  Start a mailing list.  Be inclusive when you invite.  Choose a night and set a recurring event.  Encourage members to bring a friend.  Just get started.

6. 2014 What’s Your Challenge?  How do I balance project management, mentoring, and technical leadership?  My team isn’t moving fast enough.  I’m concerned my team won’t respect me if I’m not committing code every day.  How can I help a team member who isn’t meeting my expectations?  I have team members who choose projects/tasks that aren’t high priority!

7. 2014 Today 1. Form a group with 5-7 people sitting near you. (You’ll want to be able to see and hear each other.) 2. Each person gives their name and a 1-2 sentence description of a challenge they’re facing. 3. I’ll give you a time-check every 10 minutes; move on to a new challenge.
