3 You will receive:  Grade 11 Registration Form (Green) Get sign off from teachers this week for core classes Turn in 1 st hour on March 3  Junior Worksheet (Green)  Directions for PowerSchool course selection (White)  Course Guide is available online  Homeroom Verification on Friday, March 11

4 Career Clusters  The 16 Career Clusters have been identified to help students develop a program of study with a purpose in mind.  See pages 11-19 in course guide.  Must select 1-3 career clusters of interest when selecting courses. Check out the 7 ‘HOT’ job market career clusters!!

If interested-register for the correct course, under “Online Opportunities” 2. Then FILL out an application for approval. Pick up application in Student Services. 3. Register for alternatives in case you don’t get approval. 4. You may only register for one course. Register by March 4

12 Schedule Change Criteria  Choose your classes wisely!!! Make a one year commitment because schedule changes are very limited.  Make sure you select 2 alternate course selections.  No early release for Junior year.  Teacher and lunch requests will not be granted.

13 Course Programming: Reminders  PowerSchool portal open 2/23-3/2  If you are requesting a study hall, must select in portal as request but will not count as credit  Not all course are offered each semester or each year. Read course guide carefully and plan ahead  All courses will need to meet a minimum enrollment to be offered. If you think you want a course in either semester next year, sign up now!  Be sure to sign up for both semesters of a year long course when selecting courses.  Know your prerequisites and how to read course guide.
