Miller May 13, 2002 9 Issues & Status Funding/production status –Funding (USATLAS) OK’d for gap scintillators –Funding OK’d for crack scintillator mechanical components - Production delayed pending TC approval of drawings Special Modules –Fiber assemblies for modules with special ITC submodules is almost completed (except for 1 special module type) –Prototype mounting brackets have been made for modules with modified inner R - attached after EB assembly - allows us to use standard scintillators on all modules - one didn’t fit Light Covers –Plastic film to cover fiber cables, connectors - detailed design in progress
